Image of the month November 2013

As image of the month November 2013 I chose this picture of Bobakkerne on Helnæs.
Helnaes is a peninsula (hence the Isthmus) on the southern part of the Isla Fyn. On Helnaes is the village Helnaes City with Helnaes Church, as well as Helnaes land-tip Lindehoved. In addition, at Helnaes natural area Maen, a campground and a high school. Helnaes is the area that binds together Helnaes Sogn and Agernæs with the natural dam Langøre.

When you drive down the narrow causeway in the direction of Helnaes you encounter a remarkable landscape. First is Bobakkerne like a giant violence, which in summer is dressed in a colorful flowers. The pastureland is own state, and they are open for hiking. Further south is the enormous meadowland food, west of Helnaes city. Almost 300 hectares of meadows and fields behind the beach ridges along the Little Belt.
