Macro pictures from today shot with my new Sigma 180 mm f/2.8 DG EX OS HSM Macro lens…

Today i tested my new Sigma 180 mm f/2.8 DG EX OS HSM Macro lens. I decided to shift my old Canon 180 mm f/3.5 L Macro with the new Sigma 180 mm f/2.8 DG EX OS HSM Macro lens to get the Optical Stabilizer and off course the lens is also a half stop faster than the Canon.

The Sigma 180 mm f/2.8 DG EX OS HSM Macro lens is the first real 180mm 1:1 macro lens with f-stop 2.8, all the competitors delivers 3.5 or 4.0.

I must say that the first impressions is exceptionally! The lens is extremely sharp! The OS gives somewhere between 4-6 stops, and it is really useful.
